Homestay involves living in the home of a Canadian Host family. Host families offer private living spaces to international students, which can provide students more security than living on campus or a private apartment. Homestays include meals, independent room with facilities in good condition and conducive to a student life. Homestay offers a safe environment with available support and opportunities to socialize with local families. The homestay family is responsible for picking and dropping the child to school everyday. Each homestay will attend a screening process, once chosen by our school students families will have the opportunity to meet the homestays and come to a decision.
Westfield organizes and arranges all home-stays for our students. You may arrange independent homestays upon request.
OFF CAMPUS LIVING
Off Campus living as an International student in Canada is available for those who are 18 years and older, and value independence and privacy. An off-campus room, apartment or house separates school life from home life. This can offer a greater opportunity to experience the city on your own. Students looking for off campus living should check rental markets in homes near by.
Westfield can provide networking or database sites for our students interested in taking this path.
